Industra Bank has granted a financing to SIA "BG Būve" in the amount of half a million euros to build a modern and energy-efficient village of private houses "Rezidences UPE" in Upesciems. It is planned to build 28 new private houses within a few years.

In the first stage, five houses will be built in the block of Elenburgas, Plūmju and Upeņu streets, using the financing of Industra Bank, and these houses will be available for purchase already this year.

Raivis Kakānis, Chairman of the Board of Industra Bank, indicates: "Industra Bank focuses on serving Latvian small and medium-sized companies, and our strength and privilege is the ability to delve into the customer’s ideas and financial calculations evaluating the granting of credit. I am pleased with the cooperation started with SIA "BG Būve" and the opportunity for our bank to support its plan to build a modern village of premium class private houses right on the outskirts of Riga. The habits of Latvian residents have changed in recent years and more and more people choose to live outside the big cities, so this type of property will definitely be in demand. In addition, the company's own co-financing for the implementation of the project and the set bar in ensuring the quality of buildings were more than convincing arguments for granting funding."

Residences are built using the highest quality materials and technologies, the new private houses will meet highest requirements functionally, aesthetically and technologically. They will be energy-efficient (built in accordance with the requirements for obtaining a class A energy certificate) two-story private houses with areas of 228 to 310 square meters, with land plots of 1,200 to 1,800 square meters.

Mārtiņš Ratnieks, a member of the board of SIA "BG Būve", notes that the properties will be provided with all the necessary infrastructure: "Water, sewerage, electricity and gas connections will be established, as well as rain and underground water drainage systems created in the land plots. The landscaped area of the village will be complemented by paved paths, external lighting, as well as an excellent car driveway, providing a calm everyday atmosphere and a sense of security, while providing the opportunity to reach the capital in twenty minutes."
